Visit frequency is personal. At Midtown Dental Centre, 4411 Tecumseh Rd E in Windsor, your dentist sets a return plan after reviewing your gums, earlier dental work and any treatment still under way. This page replaces a truncated blog post and covers what happens at a check-up and how to book. Call (519) 944-2401.
What a check-up usually includes
A check-up at Midtown Dental Centre includes an exam and a cleaning. Your dentist reviews your teeth and gums, notes problems that need care, and explains options in plain language. The cleaning targets buildup that home brushing leaves behind. When images would help, X-rays are taken so you and your dentist can see under the surface before deciding next steps.
Why the schedule is personal
Some people need more frequent visits when gums are inflamed, when they have many restorations, or while they are mid-treatment. Others return on a longer interval when their mouth is stable. Midtown does not publish a one-size interval on this page; the plan comes from your exam.
Everyday care at Midtown Dental Centre
Routine dentistry here spans exams and cleanings plus fillings, tooth removal, crowns, bridges and root canal care when needed. Families of all ages can be treated in the same office. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available if it would help you relax. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) for enrolled patients, bill insurers directly, and offer payment plans.
When to call sooner
Severe tooth pain, a knocked-out tooth, swelling, or bleeding that will not stop needs attention sooner than a routine visit. Phone (519) 944-2401 as soon as the office opens, or go to a hospital emergency department if it cannot wait. Our dental emergency signs page lists common warning signs.
